Amit Rawal, J (Oral) Prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing respondents to appoint the petitioners in the Government Schools w.e.f. the date similarly situated persons were appointed alongwith all consequential benefits @ 18% per annum.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners will be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.3 - Director, Secondary Education, Haryana Shiksha Sadan, Sector - 5, Panchkula, to consider the legal notice dated 07.08.2019 (Annexure P-5) within a stipulated period. CWP No.29786 of 2019 [2] Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent No.3 - Director, Secondary Education, Haryana Shiksha Sadan, Sector - 5, Panchkula, to consider the legal notice dated 07.08.2019 (Annexure P-5) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and shall pass a speaking order thereon, by affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners, failing which respondent No.3 shall be liable to pay costs of `25,000/- to the petitioners. This condition of imposing costs is only to prevent petitioners running from pillar to post and avail remedy of contempt in case of non-compliance of directions issued by this Court.
