MANJARI NEHRU KAUL , J. (ORAL) The petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to take action on complaints dated 16.06.2022 (Annexures P-18 to P25) and register an FIR against respondents No.5 to 8.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that despite repeated representations having been made to the official respondents regarding the harassment which is being meted out to the petitioner by the private respondents, the authorities concerned have been sitting over the matter and have failed to initiate any action against the accused. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if the official respondents are directed to look into the representation dated 16.06.2022 (Annexure P-18) and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

In the wake of the limited prayer of the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of and respondent No.3Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra, is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate steps, if any required, at the earliest, under the provisions of law. However, if respondent No.3 does not find any substance in the allegations levelled in the representation dated 16.06.2022 (Annexure P-18), then the petitioner shall be duly informed as per the parameters laid down by the Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors. 2013 (4) RCR (Criminal) 979.
