The plaintiff who lost suit in the manner of vying for the post of Anganwani Worker with the 6th defendant has a grouse that her status as SC candidate was not considered and that six marks which have to be allotted to her for consideration of order of merit had not been assigned to her. The defence was that the post did not carry any reservation and the appointment, which was made, was clearly on the basis of merits and the marks secured in the school board examinations alone mattered. The Court was looking for any particular rule of reservation for the post and when the same was not given, the plaintiff's suit was dismissed. The Appellate Court affirmed the same.
