       This petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging uncontrolled movements of stray animal on the roads in the city of Mohali. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already filed a representation in this regard before the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, SAS Nagar, Mohali on 21.07.2022 (Annexure P-3) but no action has been taken thereon till date by the authorities.

Learned Assistant Advocate General appearing for the respondent-State of Punjab, on advance copy, submits that competent authority shall look into the matter and if so required will take necessary action in accordance with law.

In view of the statement made by learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab and taking the same on record, the petition stands disposed of.
