(Oral) This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, (for short 'the Act') from the court at Jagraon to Faridkot. It is urged before the court that certain litigation is already pending at Faridkot. Besides, applicant has financial constraints. It would be difficult for her to defend the proceedings pending at Jagraon. Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under Section 9 of the Act at Jagraon be transferred to a court of co-ordinate jurisdiction at Faridkot. The petition is allowed in these terms.
