(Oral) Petitioner is seeking issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari seeking quashing of order dated Nil issued by Director General, Development and Panchayats Department, Haryana/respondent No. 4, in pursuance to memo dated 21.09.2022 (P-2).

The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondentauthorities without following the correct procedure, have again sequentially numbered the Gram Panchayat (mentioned at page No. 17 of the paper book) by adopting a parameter of numbering the Gram Panchayats in descending alphabetical order.

At the very outset, learned State counsel has informed the Court that firstly the elections had already been taken place on 02.11.2022 and secondly, learned State counsel has clarified that the sequential number has been given after following due process of law. CWP-25474-2022 Panchayats have rightly been placed in their respective groups on the basis of their names in English Alphabetical order for the purpose of alloting sequential number.
