This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under section 13 of the Act from the court at Jind to Ambala. It is urged before the court that petitioner is facing financial hardship and has one minor child to look after. It would be difficult for her to defend the proceedings at Jind.

Respondent remains unrepresented despite service. Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act at Jind be transferred to a court of coordinate jurisdiction at Ambala.
