By way of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner is seeking writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus in the form of directions to the official respondents No.1 to 4 to produce and release the detenue Manoj Kumar from the illegal custody of respondents No.5 and 6.

Detenue has been produced in the Court who submits that he was taken away by 7-8 young boys from his house at a place where his wife was also present and was given beatings. He has expressed his willingness to accompany the petitioner.

In view of the statement made by the detenue, the present petition is disposed off.
