(Oral) This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by the respondent-husband under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (for short 'the Act') from the court at Patiala to Ludhiana. It is urged before the court that certain litigation is already pending at Ludhiana. Besides, the applicant has 06 months child as well as her old parents to look after. She is employed at Ludhiana. Thus, it would be difficult for the applicant-wife to defend the proceedings at Patiala. Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under Section 13 of the Act pending at Patiala be transferred to a court of co-ordinate jurisdiction at Ludhiana. The petition is allowed in these terms.
