**** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J. (ORAL) The petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 153 dated 09.04.2019, under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC' - for short), registered at Police Station Safidon, District Jind. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the allegations against the petitioner are that she was allegedly having affair with the deceased and had started blackmailing him. He, however, contends that the petitioner is a 23 years old married lady and has been falsely implicated in the case. He also contends that the allegations in the FIR do not prima facie constitute an offence under Section 306 IPC.

This Court, by order dated 17.10.2019, had directed the petitioner to appear before the Investigating/Arresting Officer and join the investigation and in the event of her arrest, she was to be released on adinterim bail to the satisfaction of the Investigating/Arresting Officer, subject SATYAWAN 2019.11.20 18:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-43990-2019 (O&M) to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. Learned State counsel upon instructions from ASI Naresh Kumar states that the petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner and the petitioner having joined investigation, the order dated 17.10.2019 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. She shall also join investigation as and when called upon to do so.

The petition stands disposed of.
