**** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, (for short 'the Act') from the court at Ludhiana to Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar (Nawan Shehar).
It appears that service has already been effected upon the respondent even through his counsel in the trial court. However, he remains unrepresented.
It is urged before the court that certain litigation is already pending at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar (Nawan Shehar). Distance between the two places is almost 70 Kms. Besides, applicant is unemployed and is dependant on her parents. Due to financial constraints, she may find it difficult to defend the proceedings pending at Ludhiana. Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under Section 13 of the Act at Ludhiana be Sukhpreet Kaur 2016.08.17 15:12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
