(Oral) This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, (for short 'the Act') from the court at Ellenabad, District Sirsa to Faridkot. It is urged before the court that some litigation is already pending at Faridkot. Applicant is residing with her old aged parents alongwith her minor child at Sada Patti near Garudwara Gangsar Sahib Jaitu and it is not possible for her to attend the proceedings at Ellenabad, District Sirsa, which is about 140 Kms away. Besides, she is facing financial hardship. Thus, it would be difficult for her to defend the proceedings pending at Ellenabad, District Sirsa.

Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under Section 9 of the Act at Ellenabad, District Sirsa, be transferred to a court of co-ordinate jurisdiction at Faridkot.
