(Oral) This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, (for short 'the Act') from the court at Faridabad to Sonepat. Sunam. It is urged before the court that the distance between the two places is about 100 Kms. Applicant has to look after her one year child. She is dependent upon her parents and has financial constraints. Thus, it would be difficult for the applicant-wife to effectively defend the proceedings at Faridabad.

Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under Section 9 of the Act at Faridabad be transferred to a court of co-ordinate jurisdiction at Sonepat. The petition is allowed in these terms.
