This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under section 13 of the Act from the court at Ludhiana to Jind. It is urged before the court that petitioner is dependent on her parents. Both the legs of father of the petitioner were amputated in an accident. Due to financial constraints, she has not been able to defend the case at Ludhiana. Besides, distance between the two places is more than 250 kms.
Prayer has been opposed by learned counsel representing the respondent.
Keeping in view aforesaid contentions, facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under section 13 of the Act be transferred from Ludhiana to a court of coordinate jurisdiction at Jind. November 21, 2016 (RAJAN GUPTA) Ajay JUDGE Whether speaking/reasoned:
