(Oral) This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, (for short 'the Act') from the court at Jalandhar to Hoshiarpur. It is urged before the court that certain litigation is already pending at Hoshiarpur. Besides, applicant has to look after her minor child and her father has already died. She has financial constraints. Thus, it would be difficult for her to defend the proceedings pending at Jalandhar. Respondent remains unrepresented despite service. Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under Section 13 of the Act at Jalandhar be transferred to a court of co-ordinate jurisdiction at Hoshiarpur.
