IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH TA No. 387 of 2016 Date of decision : 07.12.2016 Sonal Goyal ....Petitioner V/s Gaurav Jindal ....Respondent BEFORE : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA
Present:

This is a petition under section 24 of Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under section 13 of the Act from Rohtak to Jhajjar. It has been urged before the court that petitioner has no independent source of income. Besides certain litigations between the parties is already pending at Jhajjar. Thus, it would be difficult for her to defend the proceedings at Rohtak. Plea for transfer has been opposed by counsel representing the respondent.
Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby directed that proceedings pending before the court at Rohtak under section 13 of the Act be transferred to court of coordinate jurisdiction at Jhajjar.
