(Oral) This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, (for short 'the Act') from the court at Ajnala to Gurdaspur. It is urged before the court that the petitioner is unemployed and has financial constraints. Therefore, she may not be able to defend the proceedings effectively at Ajnala.

Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under Section 9 of the Act at Ajnala be transferred to a court of co-ordinate jurisdiction at Gurdaspur.
