Learned State counsel on instruction from ASI Parminder Singh submits that after the completion of investigation, challan in the present case has since been presented in the Court of learned Illaqa Magistrate, Tarn Taran, where it is pending for 26.04.2024 for further proceedings. 3.

Even though none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner but the perusal of the petition would reveal that the only grievance of the petitioner was that the instant FIR bearing No.259 dated 01.10.2018 registered under Sections 406, 381, 506 and 427 IPC at Police Station City Tarn Taran having been registered way back in the year 2018, but no action thereon had been taken by the Police and even the challan had not been presented despite a lapse of 5 years.

From the statement of learned State counsel, it is evident that the SANDAL SHARMA 2024.04.22 17:51 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

N.C. No.2024:PHHC:053305 CRM-M-49309-2023 (O&M) -2Police has since presented the challan in accordance with law and the same is pending trial in the Court of learned Illaqa Magistrate, Tarn Taran. 5.

As a consequent, the present petition stands disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
