This is a petition under section 24 of Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under section 13 of the Act from Karnal to Kaithal. It has been urged before the court that petitioner has no independent source of income and is dependent on her parents. Thus, it would be difficult for her to defend the proceedings at Karnal.

Respondent remains unrepresented despite service. Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby directed that proceedings pending before the court at Karnal under section 13 of the Act be transferred to court of coordinate jurisdiction at Kaithal.
