(Oral) This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, (for short 'the Act') from the court at Sunam District Sangrur to Patiala. It is urged before the court that the applicant is a poor lady and she has a minor daughter to look after. She is dependent on her parents. It would be difficult for her to defend the proceedings pending at Sunam District Sangrur.

Respondent remains unrepresented despite service. Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under Section 9 of the Act at Sunam District Sangrur be transferred to a court of co-ordinate jurisdiction at Patiala.
