Neha v. Akash
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH TA-465-2016 (O & M) Date of decision: 16.11.2016 Neha ....Applicant(s) V/s Akash
...Respondent(s)
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA
Present:
Mr. Sarfraj Hussain, Advocate, for the applicant. Mr. Sumit Gupta, Advocate, for the respondent. **** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, (for short 'the Act') from the court at Karnal to Panipat. Distance between the two places is hardly 30 Kms. Applicant may not be required to attend the court except on one/two dates. This court, thus, finds that no purpose would be served by transferring the proceedings at this stage. However, respondent-husband shall be liable to pay `5000/- as litigation/travelling expenses to the applicant-wife on the date she appears before the court to depose.
