(Oral) This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, (for short 'the Act') from the court at Sangrur to Ambala. It is urged before the court that certain litigation is already pending at Ambala. Besides, applicant-wife is residing with her widow mother and has a minor child to look after. Thus, it would be difficult for the applicant-wife to effectively defend the proceedings at Kapurthala. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent-husband is doing a private job.

Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under Section 9 of the Act at Sangrur be transferred to a court of co-ordinate jurisdiction at Ambala. The petition is allowed in these terms.
