This is a petition under section 24 CPC praying for transfer of proceedings from Sangrur to Jalandhar.

Owner of the offending vehicle has preferred this petition seeking transfer of the claim petition from Sangrur to Jalandhar. Only ground raised in the petition is that petitioner and respondents are residents of Jalandhar and case was registered at Shahkot in district Jalandhar. I am of the considered view that this is not a sufficient ground for transfer of proceedings from Sangrur to Jalandhar. Needless to observe that Tribunal is fully empowered to decide all questions of jurisdiction if raised before it. Dismissed.
