Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 CrPC is for quashing of order dated 25.09.2019 passed by Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Dera Bassi along with other prayers.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the limited grievance which survives, after elapse of a period of 5 years, is that the official respondents should not interfere in the trial.

Counsel for the State submits that they never intended to interfere in the investigation and they do their job in accordance with law. 4.

Given the statement of State's counsel, the present petition is disposed of, with a clarification that the official respondents shall not interfere in the trial. However, it is clarified that this order does not imply curtailment of powers of the trial Court in any manner whatsoever and this order shall not come in the way of any judicial order so passed by the trial Court on the powers of the police to investigate the matter.

The petition is disposed of. All pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
