This is a petition under section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure for transfer of petition initiated by respondent-husband under section 9 of the Act from the court at Jalandhar to Ludhiana. Respondent remains unrepresented despite service. It is urged before the court that petitioner is dependent on her parents. Due to financial constraints, she has not been able to defend the case at Jalandhar.
Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, petition is disposed of with the direction that proceedings pending at Jalandhar under section 9 of the Act be transferred to a court of coordinate jurisdiction at Ludhiana.
