Apprehending threat to her life and liberty, petitioner has filed the present petition with a prayer to direct respondent No.2 (Superintendent of Police, Karnal) to take appropriate action against the private respondents, who according to her are issuing threats.

Learned counsel submits that petitioner had married Fateh Singh (since deceased) on 21.06.2023. It was the second marriage for both petitioner and Fateh Singh. After the marriage, she started residing with her husband. Unfortunately for her, Fateh Singh passed away on 27.11.2024. Thereafter, her miseries increased and private respondents who are the children of late Fateh Singh and her brother-in-law started harassing her. 3.

Insofar as the present petition is concerned, learned counsel for the petitioner limits his prayer to direct the official respondents to decide representation dated 19.07.2025 annexed as Annexure P-1 moved by petitioner.

        direction to respondent No.2 to decide representation moved by the petitioner (Annexure P-1) within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and grant her protection, if there is any threat to her life and liberty.
