(Oral) This is a petition under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure for transfer of proceedings initiated by the respondent-husband under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (for short 'the Act') from the court at Ferozepur to Moga.

It has been urged before the court that the petition preferred by the applicant under Section 125 Cr.P.C. is already pending at Moga. Applicant has one year old child to look after. She is dependent on her parents. Besides, respondent is an employee of Railways. The proceedings under Section 9 of the Act may, thus, be transferred to Moga. Keeping in view the aforesaid contentions and facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby directed that the proceedings under Section 9 of the Act pending at Ferozepur be transferred to a court of coordinate jurisdiction at Moga. The petition is allowed in these terms.
