(Oral) This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, (for short 'the Act') from the court at Mansa to Faridkot. It is urged before the court that proceedings under Section 125 Cr.P.C. are already pending at Faridkot. Applicant is residing with her old aged widow mother and is dependent upon her. Besides, she has one year old daughter to look after and has no source of income. Thus, it would be difficult for the applicant-wife to effectively defend the proceedings at Safidon.

Respondent remains unrepresented despite service. Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under Section 13 of the Act at Mansa be transferred to a court of co-ordinate jurisdiction at Faridkot. The petition is allowed in these terms.
