In compliance of order dated 04.12.2023, the petitioners are present in Court.

Learned State counsel has filed the affidavit dated 21.12.2023 of Manavjit Singh Sidhu, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Tapa, Barnala on behalf of respondent No. 1-State through Secretary Home Punjab Civil Secretariat Chandigarh and respondent No. 2-The Senior Superintendent of Police Barnala, Punjab, which is taken on record. According to para 4 of the said affidavit, the parents of petitioner No. 1 have suffered their statements supported by their affidavits dated 07.12.2023 that there is no threat by them to their daughter and son-in-law. 3.

In light of the above, no further orders are required to be PARUL 2024.02.15 12:40 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document passed and accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of.
