The contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 15.10.2024 passed in CWP-26431-2024, whereby, respondent was directed to decide representation dated 31.07.2024 filed by the petitioner by passing a speaking order.

Learned counsel for respondent-State contends that in compliance of order dated 15.10.2024 passed in CWP-26431-2024, affidavit of Ms. Uma Shankar Gupta, Director, Rural Development and Panchayat, Punjab dated 17.11.2025 along with speaking order (Annexure R-1/T) dated 18.07.2025 has been filed, which is taken on record.

A perusal of speaking order dated 18.07.2025, shows that order dated 15.10.2024 passed in CWP-26431-2024, has been complied with. 4.

In view of the above, the contempt is purged and rule is discharged. 5.
