IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT

CHANDIGARH TA No. 771 of 2016 Date of decision : 03.10.2016 Aarti Bhanwar ....Petitioner V/s Mangal ....Respondent BEFORE : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA

Present:

Mr. Sandeep Berwal, Advocate for the petitioner. RAJAN GUPTA J.

Admittedly, petitioner is employed in a private company in Gurgaon and is drawing handsome salary. Respondent-husband has initiated proceedings under section 9 of the Act at a court in Mohali. In my considered view, there is no ground made out to transfer the proceedings as petitioner only has to engage a counsel to defend the proceedings at Mohali. It being petition under section 9 of the Act, she may not be required to appear personally except on one or two dates. In view of above, present petition is without any merit and is hereby dismissed.
