(Oral) This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by the respondent-husband under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (for short 'the Act') from the court at Patiala to Jagraon. It is urged before the court that the certain litigation is already pending at Jagraon. Besides, applicant has a minor girl child to look after and she has not source of income. She is living with her brother. Thus, it would be difficult for the applicant-wife to defend the proceedings at Patiala. Respondent remains unrepresented despite service. Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under Section 9 of the Act at Patiala be transferred to a court of co-ordinate jurisdiction at Jagraon. The petition is allowed in these terms.
