(Oral) This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by husband-respondent under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, (for short 'the Act') from the court at Mansa to Faridkot. It is urged before the court that the applicant has to look after 03 year old child. She is dependent upon her parents. Thus, it would not be possible for the applicant-wife to effectively defend the proceedings at Mansa.

Respondent remains unrepresented despite service. Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under Section 13 of the Act at Mansa be transferred to a court of co-ordinate jurisdiction at Faridkot. The petition is allowed in these terms.
