Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) Petitioner seeks transfer of proceedings pending at Karnal under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. It has been urged before this court that respondent is a resident of Gurgaon. The proceedings may thus be transferred to the competent court at Gurgaon itself. Admittedly, trial of the case has made much headway and is at the stage of defence evidence. This court finds no ground to interfere in its jurisdiction under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure. The petition appears to be totally frivolous in nature and is hereby dismissed.
