(ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus/Certiorari for suspension/removal of respondents No.5 to 9 as they remained absent for more than four consecutive months from the meetings of Gram Panchayat Bhojranwala, Block and District Tarn Taran without reasonable cause.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition. 3.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
