(Oral) This is a petition under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of proceedings in case No.MACP/308/2016 initiated by the respondents pending before the Tribunal at Kurukshetra to MACT, Ambala.

Accident took place on May 04, 2016, in which, one Amandeep Singh died. Applicant-Gurjeet Kaur, who is widow of Amandeep Singh, preferred a claim petition before the Tribunal at Ambala. Mother and brother of the deceased-Amandeep Singh, however, preferred a similar petition before the Tribunal at Kurukshetra. Proceedings in both the petitions are pending at present.

Respondents No.1 and 2 remain unrepresented despite service. Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.5-Insurance company has, however, put in appearance and submits that it would be in the interest of justice, if both the cases are heard by the same Tribunal. Under the circumstances, this petition is allowed. Proceedings pending before the Tribunal at Kurukshetra be transferred to the same Tribunal at Ambala, where proceedings pursuant to MACP/0002069 of 2016 are already pending.
