...Respondent(s)
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA
Present:
Mr. Sandeep Kumar, Advocate, for Mr. Vikram Singh, Advocate, for the applicant.
**** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) This is a petition seeking transfer of proceedings initiated by the respondent-husband under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (for short 'the Act') from the court at Karnal to Kaithal. It is urged before the court that certain litigation is already pending at Kaithal. Therefore, it would be in the interest of justice, if the proceedings initiated by the respondent are transferred to Kaithal. Respondent remains unrepresented despite service. Keeping in view facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that proceedings under Section 9 of the Act pending at Karnal be transferred to a court of co-ordinate jurisdiction at Kaithal. The petition is allowed in these terms.
