**** SANDEEP MOUDGIL , J.(ORAL) This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a direction to respondents No.2 & 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners by providing adequate police protection to the petitioners as both are living in live-in relationship and also directing the official respondents to decide the representation dated 09.09.2024 (Annexure P-3).

None has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioners and a perusal of the earlier order dated 23.09.2024 would depict that despite call twice in a day, the petitioner was unrepresented before this Court. At this state, Mr. Jaspal Singh Guru, AAG, Punjab, informs that earlier also similar petition was preferred bearing CRWP-8735-2024, which was dismissed as withdrawn on 12.09.2024 and apart that a habeas corpus petition bearing CRWP-8961-2024 stands preferred by father of the girl VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2024.09.28 16:04 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
