Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) This is a petition under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of proceedings under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act from Ropar to Hoshiarpur. It has been urged before this court that petitioner has no source of income. She is dependant upon her parents. Certain litigation is pending at Hoshiarpur. It would be difficult for her to effectively defend her case at Ropar. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that the proceedings under Section 9 of the Act pending at Ropar be transferred to the court of coordinate jurisdiction at Hoshiapur. Allowed in above terms.
