Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) This is a petition under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure for transfer of civil suit from Faridkot to Bathinda. Admittedly, the civil suit was instituted by the petitioners themselves at Faridkot. The property, qua which injunction has been sought, is also situated in district Faridkot. Admittedly, proceedings in the civil suit have made some headway by now.

I am of the considered view that no case for transfer of proceedings is made out. Petition is thus without any merit and is hereby dismissed.

Needless to observe that trial court is at liberty to conduct the proceedings expeditiously.
