Sandhya Saini ....Petitioner
Versus
Manpreet Singh .....Respondent
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA
Present:
Mr. Surinder Thakur, Advocate for the petitioner.
Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) This is a petition under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure for transfer of proceedings initiated by respondent-husband under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act from SBS Nagar to Hoshiarpur. I do not find any sufficient ground for transfer of proceedings as the distance between the two places is merely 20-30 Kms. Petitioner may be required to attend the court at SBS Nagar only on one or two occasions. On such attendance, husband would be liable to pay reasonable costs to the petitioner as assessed by the trial court. It shall, however, be not less than Rs.1500/- per visit.
Disposed of.
