IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT

CHANDIGARH CWP-31305-2019 Date of decision: - 30.10.2019 Jiwan Singh ....Petitioner

Versus

State of Punjab and others .....Respondents CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI Present: - Mr. Jai Vir Yadav, Advocate, for the petitioner. *** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for petitioner states that respondents No.3 and 4 have sent the case for granting approval to the Annexure 1-A to the Punjab State Cooperative Financing Institution Service (Revised Pay) Rules, 2010 and Punjab State Cooperative Financing Institutions Service (Common Cadre Rules), 1970-71 and also Appendix 1-AA of the Punjab State Cooperative Financing Institutions Service Rules, 1958, which is still pending consideration with respondent No.2. Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that keeping in view the pendency of the said approval, petitioner has not been granted the revised gratuity w.e.f. 01.01.2006, which is causing prejudice to him. The prayer of the petitioner is for issuing direction to respondent No.2 to pass appropriate orders in respect of the recommendation, which has been sent by respondents No.3 and 4 for the grant of approval to Annexures 1-A and 1-AA.
