**** Karamjit Singh, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India directing respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and other family members at the hands of respondents No.6 to 9.

The counsel appearing for the State inter alia submits that earlier also, the petitioner and her mother-in-law filed CRWP-74962024 wherein detailed reply on behalf of the State was filed with regard to involvement of Rasal Singh @ Bittu, husband of the present petitioner in a criminal case having FIR No.21/2022 registered under Sections 16, 17, 18 and 20 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Section 14-A of Foreigner Act, Section 25 of Arms Act and Section 3 of Enemy Agent Ordinance Act at Police Station Samba, SIA, Jammu and further that said Rasal Singh is involved in another criminal cases and SONIA BURA 2025.01.22 16:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP-9142-2024 -2declared a proclaimed offender and that said Rasal Singh is also absent in FIR No.21/2022.

The State counsel on instructions from ASI Manjinder Singh submits that the petitioner is not required by the police in any criminal case and is not being unnecessarily harassed in any manner by the police authorities and only her husband Rasal Singh is required by the police in afore-stated criminal cases wherein he is absconding. 4.

Counsel appearing for the petitioner made a statement that the present petition be disposed of in the light of the aforesaid statement made by the State counsel.
