Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for quashing the impugned order dated 15.07.2019 (Annexure P-6), whereby respondent No. 3 (Dr. Ritu Attri) was promoted as Assistant Professor (Medicines) under the roster point meant for Scheduled Caste Category being contrary to Appendix-B of Rule 6 of the Punjab Medical Education (Group-A) Service Rules, 2016, even though being ineligible as she was not possessing the requisite three years of teaching experience in the concerned specialty in recognized Post Graduate Medical College.

Learned State Counsel produced a copy of order dated 08.09.2021 (in Punjabi) passed by the quarter concerned and submitted that the grievance of petitioner has been redressed. The aforesaid order is taken on record as Mark-'X'.

Learned counsel for the petitioner acknowledges the above factual position.

CWP No. 30204 of 2019 (O&M) -2In view of the aforesaid development, present petition is disposed off. However, liberty is granted to petitioner to raise his claim regarding the ancillary reliefs before the quarter concerned. It is clarified that in case a representation is made within one week from today, same shall be considered within next two weeks in accordance with law.
