The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to decide application dated 12.07.2023 seeking re-issuance of passport. 2.

The petitioner was issued passport which is going to expire on 18.02.2024. The petitioner is a minor and staying with his mother. The respondent is seeking particulars of father's passport, however, petitioner is not staying with his father because parents of the petitioner are not in cordial relations. The petitioner is unable to get consent as well as documents of his father.

authority alongwith requisite documents. The passport authority would look into the matter and pass an appropriate order. 4.

Without commenting upon merits of the case, the petitioner is directed to appear before passport authority alongwith his mother and documents available with him on 16.11.2023. The respondents shall consider case of the petitioner in terms of instructions issued by Government of India from time to time and pass an appropriate order within four seeks thereafter. 5.
