This is a petition under section 24 of the Act seeking transfer of civil suit no. 1698/2014 titled as "Madho Ram vs. Seema" pending in the court of Civil Judge (Junior Division), Pathankot to competent court at Amritsar.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is possibility of compromise between the petitioner and respondents. Under the circumstances, there is no ground to transfer the suit. Petition is dismissed at this stage. Petitioner shall, however, be at liberty to file afresh in case circumstances so warrant.
