HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J It is the case of the petitioners that they had built houses in the land falling in Khasra No.67/7/2 (Village Umri, Tehsil Thanesar, District Kurukshetra). The land was initially owned and possessed by one Kanti Prashad son of Ram Dhan, who expired on 27.01.1981. The petitioners are his legal representatives. They were issued show cause notice under Section 18(1)(b) of the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran Act, 1977 (for short "1977 Act") calling upon them to vacate the said land for being in unauthorized occupation of the HSVP land. The petitioners replied to the said show cause notice. However, without passing any order, pursuant to the show cause notice, the respondents are proceeding to evict the petitioners from the same.
