Dated Police Station Sections 30.6.2023 Vigilance Bureau, 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 Range, Amritsar State has opposed the present petition on the ground of non-disclosure of criminal history by the petitioner.

However, petitioner's counsel submits that he has been exonerated in the case registered against him.

To this, the State counsel submits that as per the latest instructions from SI Lakhbir Singh, chargesheet is likely to be filed in that case and as such, there is no question of exoneration of the petitioner.

Faced with this, counsel for the petitioner wants to withdraw the present petition, however, with liberty to file a fresh petition after mentioning his criminal history.

Disposed of, with liberty aforesaid.
