(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus for staying the operation of order dated 03.07.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed by respondent No.3 (Deputy Commissioner, Sonepat) whereby the petitioner was suspended from the post of Sarpanch. 2.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.2 - Commissioner, Rohtak Division, Rohtak to decide the stay application filed by the petitioner along with the statutory appeal in a time bound manner.

CWP-23376-2025 petitioner along with the statutory appeal is pending consideration before the learned Commissioner for 21.08.2025 and in all probability the prayer for grant of stay would be considered and finally decided by the learned Commissioner on the date already fixed i.e. 21.08.2025 and not in any case beyond the period of three weeks thereof.

Keeping in view the aforesaid stand taken by learned State counsel, the present writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 6.
