The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.151, dated 06.09.2022, registered under Sections 406, 420 and 120-B IPC at Police Station Division No.4, Patiala.

Learned counsel has filed an affidavit dated 14.09.2023 of the petitioner stating therein that he being naive was not aware of the procedure and the law that the factum of pendency of the present petition was to be apprised before the trial Court while filing a petition for grant of bail pending the present petition, which was filed on the basis of compromise and allowed by recording the statement of the complainant affirming the said fact. He expresses remorse and tenders unconditional apology for the same.
